My name is Vanessa Clements! I am a Senior at IUI studying Health Services Management. While I am unsure in what career I'll be pursuing once my undergraduate ends, I have a passion in increasing access to care and patient advocacy. I am drawn to the hospital and clinical setting, but I am open to whatever experiences come my way!
I was born and raised in Indianapolis. I grew up in a low income home and had very limited access to care until I got older. Experiencing this resulted in my passion regarding healthcare access issues. Along with this, a number of my relatives, including my dad, have careers in healthcare. Being surrounded by people in the field contributed most to why I picked the Health Services Management major!
