CAPS Mission Statement

To grow as an organization in order to provide affordable mental health services, emotional support, and empower the students using this service.

2. What do you want your target market to take away from your mission statement? How do you
want them to feel about your organization?

I think what makes this a strong mission statement for my organization is that it includes organizational goals while also describing the service itself and its values. What I want the target audience to take away from my mission statement is that there are affordable and available options for them to receive help for their mental health, since getting help is such a hard thing to navigate. I want them to feel like this organization welcomes them with open arms and will work with whatever financial situation they are in in order to provide them resources to aid in their mental healthcare.
